3.) What effect will the age of the building and construction features have on the fire spread and travel?

4.) With the first alarm response committed to rescue, how long will it take for water to be applied to the room of origin in a building like this? ( Be realistic!)

5.) List the tactical priorities that might need to be considered here.

This week the Tactical Fire Problem involves the response to a possible terror threat. Even in the smallest communities you might have a smaller venue basketball game. This happen to be a professional game with a larger audience, but take this scenario and discuss and plan for what you might do in your area with a scaled down incident, but also scaled down resources.

1.) What is the capacity of your largest venue? Do you know, are you ready for it?

2.) Take today and this week and review your MCI procedures and policies.

3.) Have you trained to interact with law enforcement in these types of incidents?

4.) How do you account for all civilians in this incident?

5.) How will you handle the fire? Are there any additional collapse issues that might be present here?
